La Terre Institute for Community & Ecology is sponsoring an eight-week study and discussion group on the lessons that can be learned concerning the creation of communities of liberation and solidarity through the experience of the Democratic Autonomy Movement in Rojava and the Zapatista Movement in Chiapas.
Meetings will be held at 7725 Cohn St. in New Orleans on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 PM, beginning May 17 and ending July 5
